Headlight: beam deflector - Q:do I need to??

    Hi Folks,

Just doing last checks before heading off on tour around France next week. Did an online re-check of driving/riding rules & regs so won't become a victim of the Gendarmes spot checks (hi-viz, breathalyser x 2, bulbs, helmet stickers, etc, etc). However, as this will be my first trip to Europe on the Crosstourer...so do I need to 'mask' my headlight?? Have checked the owners manual etc, but can't find any mention of it.

Any Brits out there with recent experience of touring France on their Crosstourers? ...or am I just worrying about something that the Gendarmes don't enforce on bikes?

    Cheers

Been away to Europe 4 times on my mine, never fitttd a deflector. But then again, didn't bother with breathalyser or helmet stickers either.

The CT headlight isn't 'handed' like a car so no need to mask it up.

No, UK and EU have the same headlights (most Honda's do).
