    Which tent to buy?

Dudes. I'm in need of a new tent to take to bike rallies. My last one was ceremoniously thrown into the skip after the TTT rally in Orkney last August after I woke up and my airbed was actaully floating on the amount of rain it collected.

    Any recommendations?  :002:

I literally just bought a Wild Country Zephyros 3 Living.

I go to rallies also and have done for many years.  I've been using a Marmot Nusku 3p for a while now.  It's a brilliant tent and is in fantastic condition (they don't make it anymore).  The only reason that I'm replacing it with the Zephyros is that I want a tent now that I can stand up in.  I'll be selling the Marmot very soon on ebay.

If you also want a tent that is light, and you can stand up in, I recommend:

    Robens Green Cone
    Wild Country Zephryros
    Vaude Campo 5P
    Redverz Solo or Atacama
    Vango Galaxy 200 or 300
    Vango Stelvio 2

I went for the Zephyros as I found it for 189 pounds online which is a massive bargain.

    Hope this helps.

I'm a huge Kelty fan and use a Trailridge 3.  I'd check in on it if they are avalaible in your part of the world.   You cant stand up but I find it pretty comfortable and very dry.  And it fits in the left inside part of the Honda side case with room to spare.  I've spent up to 2 weeks at a time in it and had it long enough to say its a pretty good tent.

After asking my facecloot pals for tent advice I've opted for the Kyham biker. It seems to get lots of good reviews. Ill post up a review after it arrives :)

I have one....it's not lightweight and it's gonna fit in a pannier...but you will be sat with a coffee watching your mates still struggling to put their own tents up..with a smug grin on your face!

Definitely have a good few practice goes getting it up though...Fnnaaar!

Gidday Neep, wife and I have camped for the last 3 years in a "Mannagum Howqua 3" hiking tent and had no issues. It's big enough for the two of us and all our gear and still light and compact and always kept us dry.  :152:

I had a khyam biker for a couple of years.  It's a good tent.  Be careful not to get the fly sheet pinched in the pole mechanism when you're putting it up.
