    Helmet Hook

    Hi All
Is anyone using the underseat Helmet hook? I find it too far of a stretch to attach my helmet then re-attach the seat. My old CB1300 had a nice key operated lock fitted under the seat. I assume an after market lock or something along those lines is the solution? Is anyone doing anything else?
    Thanks

I seem to remember, and have with mine, a wire loop thingy with a plastic cover which was for looping the helmet  :187:

Yep, got the same thing in tool kit. I tried it once but struggled to get it round chin bar of lid and have enough slack to attach to bike. I keep a u lock under the seat and use that, locking lid via grab handle, so that it sits on pillion seat. Can do two helmets this way when wife comes out with me.

Thanks for the information. I found the cable in the tool kit, but as Fatsam47 said, it's too short to go round the chin bar and back to the lock position. I'll pick up a U lock or cable to keep under the seat.

    Cheers

It is possible, especially if you have a helmet with DoubleD See pic
