    Best tank bag?

Looking for either a Givi or Bagster option here - based entirely on my own prejeudices. But can't figure precisely which models would fit the shape of the tank.

    Any bright ideas?

    Cheers
    Mike

I like very much the Touratech Ambato exp, I did not like the price.. But after two year's use I have to say  it is very good!

I bought and used the Givi XS 308 for my trip to Lofoten Islands, it fits perfectly to the CT and the attach system works fine it takes 1second to take it away from the tank and 2s to attach it. I didn't take the removable belt that I find useless, it would be better with these pockets on the main bag.
The volume of the bag is good to put a reflex camera, a little bottle, sun glasses and don't hide the dashboard.

Another vote for the xs308. Ive had it on all sorts of bikes. It even fits good on the 1000r. I carry all my camera stuff in it. Its been all over Europe eith any problems. It pretty waterproof too. You get a cover with it but i don't bother and it still keeps the rain out.

And another vote for the XS308. Also used it on different bikes, just need to buy an adapter ring for different makes for around £18. Here it is extended and with tablet holder attached, which I sometimes use as a satnav. I can hold a bit more than you think when extended.

I also use the Givi xs308 which was bought for my CT but is now used on my AT with the addition of a new tank ring (to fit the AT fuel tank screw spacing)

I also do not bother with the detachable 'belt'

It is a good shape for the CT and also the AT and the tank ring fitting method is instant!!

XS 308 for me too. Attached belt pouches are handy if you go on the toll roads to carry the loose cash etc. That is the only reason I still have it on. As said previously the pouches would be better as a permanent fixture on the actual bag.
