    Heated Grip Poll

    Hi,

The Honda grips seem to be very hit and miss, several disappointed owners but others saying they find really good. A few owners are now making complaints to Honda so I was wondering if there's a pattern to why some appear to good and other not so.

Ive listed both types, so if for example, you had 3 stage and were happy with them but now have 5 stage and find them disappointing you can poll twice accordingly.

    Hello,

I have them on my late 2016 registered DCT Highlander so probably on the 2016 editions but stand to be corrected

    Best regards,

    David

I have the Honda ones. I can't even tell if they are on under the grip puppies. I had grip puppies on the super tenere which had the Yamaha grips and couldn't stand them on max for long. In other words the Honda ones are rubbish. They are not as good as £50 Oxford ones especially at the £300 that Honda wants. I had the old style oxfords with the rotary knob on a vstrom. They were good too.

Original 3 stage for me which I find fit for purpose. Can't compare others because I have not had them before on other bikes. Have therefore selected average.

I've had Oxford and Ducati before now.  Both are excellent compared to the Honda 3-stage.  Riding in freezing conditions, you can hardly tell they're on.  Oxfords I never needed to use above their medium setting.

My five position type are crap not warm at all even on position five. the Honda ones fitted to my two blackbirds from new, the radial knob type were great and had to be turned down at times because my hands were to hot!

On setting 3 on my 15 plate CT the heat is poor and no way can i say my hands get hot, just warm at best.
S i chose average because they are the first heated grips i've had, and i'm not impressed.  :110:
keep it shiny side up !!!
