:158: Well I've had the CT and the Africa Twin side by side in the garage for a month or so now and sadly each time I'm drawn to ride the AT and not the CT. The CT is of course an entirely different proposition but for me, the AT just ticks more boxes so the Black CT is up for sale. 4227 dry miles on the clock, rear hugger, Michelin Road Pilot 4s with plenty of life left in them USB power, centre stand, full LEDs headlight, LED spots, bars and always kept in a centrally heated garage. Selling the high Touratech seat and Akrapovic end can and GIVI touring screen, tinted hand guard extensions separately so open to offers on these bits. So if any of you guys are interested drop me a line. I've enjoyed the forum and found it inspiring and informative by fellow riders who appreciate quality and riding something a bit different.

Thank you. I've learned CT owners are a discerning breed who appreciate that rare combination of understated power and capability.

i  have the white crosstourer highlander and a red white and black africa twin ,totally different bikes but i love both for different reasons so im keeping both, but i must say the finish on the africa twin is not good, the spokes have gone rusty and its only been out in the wet on one occasion and was cleaned as soon as i got home.the finish on the crosstourer is like new its now 2 years old,and been used in the wet and no rust.

As they say, each to their own and I too had to decide between the CT and AT.  Went for the CT due to my commute needs and my wife wanting to some comfort on the back. Nonetheless, the right decision is the one that suits you. Interested in the Akropivic can.

Safe riding Robocop sorry to see you go. The AT is tempting but what puts me off is the chain drive and tubed tyres.
