Buying my second CT..need some advice

    Hi Everyone..

Ok so I sold my 2013 CT DCT during the summer..long story.

Decided to buy another one this week. Went back into Honda and was inquiring about the new and supposidly improved 2017 CT DCT. At the same time was told about the amazing deals on the current 2015/16 dct..and really my question was should I hold out and buy a 2017 model or just say bugger it..and go with the great deal? Is the update that good or is it not worth passing up the £1000 deposit contribution on the older model???

    Good to be back..

2016 CTs are very thin on the ground, in fact I cannot find a DCT anywhere and did have my order for one cancelled by Honda.

The 2016 had the adjustable screen, 3 stage "S" mode on the DCT and an auxiliary power socket up in the cockpit area.

Ive been looking for details for the 17 model and from what I've found it would appear that its the same as the 16 but with paint schemes closer to pre 15 bikes, (white and candy prominence red).

That's a shame as the 2 tone 15&16 bikes all look great.

I've recently enquired about a 15 spec DCT and they also seem to be in short supply now.

I guess there will be a price increase for the new year and im my opinion the new paint schemes are a step backwards.

Mine is a standard Highlander DCT 13 plate and I am well satisfied. So any of the small changes to the model would not impress me to buy a new one. I take the 15/16 plate which would help with the depreciation factor.

But the newer version with the updates will hold a higher value longer...

I have the updated version and wouldn't give up the really superb adjustable screen and sport modes for that much money.  But that's me,

Problem is that my Honda dealer doesn't think that Honda will give me any money towards the deposit. so I'll be starting from scratch..also there will be an increase in price on the new model...as well as the Highlander package which is wot im going for...First world problems eh?

After finally getting to grips with the screen issue.....I'll be sticking with my 2012 for now.
What do you mean it's raining....get ootside and ride the thing.
