PXing my Crosstourer, so now selling the Touratech standard height with breathable covered seat as the dealer doesn't want it, so will be refitting the OEM seat. £300 plus postage, UK buyers only.

It ain't the power it's how you choose to use it!

    Andy,

I know the seat is sold, but I'm considering buying a new one myself. How did you rate it? Is is more comfortable than the standard when touring.

If I may butt in Craig, I have a standard Touratech seat and find it far better than the standard seat. It felt a little hard at first but had got better and better with miles.

    Hope this helps.

The breathable cover prevented heat build up, after 90 minutes the OEM std seat started to get uncomfortable, the Touratech one I found ok even after two hours plus in the saddle.

    Hartley/Andy,

Many thanks for your replies. I went down to Lake Garda last summer and after a few days in the standard saddle found that after 40 minutes I needed to get off the bike or stand up.

Also tried an Air Hawk but didn't like it.

    Touratech here I come.

    Many thanks again.

    Craig

Before you order Craig, there is a supplier in Europe that was a lot cheaper that touratech U.K. when I bought mine. I don't think the price difference is as much as it used to be but may be worth checking.
