No - just cleaned it up and it worked fine afterwards.

Try to disconnect everything that might draw any current and try again. If this helps it means you need a new battery.
If not please email me directly and we will figure something out.

OK thanks so far, will start with the brake switch!
And today and yesterday it all worked fine, perhaps the loads of rain already did a lot of cleaning  :001:

Prez,
Please check your email. I'm having some challenges getting my ECC working. Thanks!

Just got back from 2K road trip through Picos & Pyrenees; then up through France & back via Calais. Will post pics when I can. So... As to the Cruise Control. Worked brilliantly up until the temperature rose above 30 degrees then it would not set at a speed or on rare occasions would let go a held speed. I then switched off, left for 5-10 mins & on most occasions it worked again. I don't think it was a battery issue as has been reported.  Any ideas veeefour? Should I re-position the EC box of magic from the recommended place?

If ECC won't engage or it's shutting off this is always a problem with voltage - I had few complaints about it and
it was always related to parasitic energy drain, improper installation or pinched wire - no unsolved case whatsoever.

I have customers riding in Arizona in 40'C or in AU in 45'C all year long - the heat was never an issue.

Feel free to send the kit back to me if you feel that something is WRONG with it. You have my """EMAIL"""...

Regards
Prez

I don't want to send it back Prez. I'd rather get it functioning properly. How would you suggest I proceed?

OK, first of all: do you still have that problem?

Second: what electrical accessories do you have?

Only just got back Prez, but the issue was intermittent. I have LED spotlights, TomTom Sat Nav, charging point for GoPro Camera, & iPhone 6.
I have heated grips installed but not used!
Regards....
