MrKiwi signing on
on: November 27, 2015, 01:58:03 AM
Hi all
I've been a member of other forums for quite a while, including another Varadero and Crosstourer forum.  Thought I would joint this one as well.

I currently own a 2013 VFR1200X, farkled with aftermarket parts (see pic below) and I recently purchased a 1998 Honda XL600V transalp.  The Transalp resides with a friend in the Netherlands for use when I travel to Europe.

I live in New Zealand, and enjoy taking the VFR1200X out on rides it is not designed for  :007:

I find it OK, but you feel its weight downhill and in loose gravel.  It doesn't help that I am running road tires mostly  :157:

Hi Paul
NZ is a great place to ride, both north and south islands.  If you can only do one, the south is best...
