Got a Blackbird waiting for a turn to play out. please,i'd like you all to have a customery drink on me,but not when you are riding, thanks. https://www.crosstourer.com/Smileys/light/031.gif . keep it safe.

Thanks for the welcome friends.

I got the Highlander because it had the nice extras and the heated grips are the first i've ever had on a bike, they are so snug and make you feel warm all over.

It was a pre reg bike and i think I got it for a brilliant price.

Next year the wife and i are off to Germany for a 2 week tour, planning a coulpe of 2 night stop overs on the way, heading near to the Nurburg ring, hmm wonder why? :001:

I do need a lower seat as i only have a 29" inside leg,can any one advise if the Honda lower seat works well for such a shortie. :021:

I see there is a 10% discount from Cox Honda, does that apply to new members.

I've been riding for 42 years (officially) starting with a Lambretta, a Vespa, then onto K7 750 Honda, the beast that is the Blackbird, ive had for 10 years and now the sublime Crosstourer.

Tried and tested lots of mainstream bikes but i just cant find anything that rides as good as or suits me as good as a Honda. So comfy.

A friend and i usually go out most Sundays but not this one as weather is awful today, so got to go visit the in-laws, oh well some one has too, wish me luck.

Keep up the great information and conversation.

Cheers all John.

Hello and welcome,I too only have a 28 inch inside leg, standard seat and would not swap for nothing, can do the whole tank in 1 hit it's that comfortable and no probs as regards to seat height.
