Everything did well. I was on a tour in the north. Actually I rode in the Finnish Lapland and some roads by the Artic Ocean in Norway.
It was in August and I had some vacation. I was at home and opened weather forecast with my laptop. It would be sunny whole week in the whole Scandinavia. So? On the road. I rode from Turku straight through the Finland up to the Lapland (Saariselka). It was a bit annoying while the main roads are situated in the woods. 1050 kilometres just listening the helmet noise
I booked in for several nigths at the Santa's Hotel Tunturi (60 euros/day). My main aim was to visit Pykeija in Norway. It's a small fishing village by the fjord Varange, idyllisk they say. Yep, and I did. Otherwise it was sunny warm, but down in the Pykeija the Arctic Ocean did some sea smoke. If you want more details, I will write some experiences.
This is Varangebootn, just to see what kind of roads were.
And this is Pykeija somewhere down there
