A very fast enjoyable bike that did not fit any particular category, neither a cruiser nor a sport bike.
Nevertheless it was a beautiful, well made motorcycle.

Loved the Harley....but just don’t ride enough anymore to have a $30k bike sitting in the garage collecting dust :008: :008:

The dog will miss the old ST though.....

Yeah, I miss mine sometimes to, but I found myself riding more and more back roads and wanted something that handles the gravel and broken pavement a little better than the ST!
I really like the CT (VFR1200x here) except for the extremely poor low speed throttle mapping!

Mine was a 2004 V Strom 1000 which currently has 67000 miles on it. Had it since new and rode off road a bunch. I also had an 2003 KLR 650 which I put 30,000 miles on it.

ktm 690 and track 800 diesel.

Before that lots of dual sports (ktm 640 adv, drz400, transalp, kle500, dr650, f650) and lots of heavy trailies (ktm 990, bmw 1100 and 1150gs, xrv750, tiger 955, tdm850) but started witch a moto guzzi 1000sp and suzuki gt750/t500.

even owned a full spec enduro beta300rr and now a ossa300tri tialbike

The honda is the most comfortable one, also the fasted and best build one. But also somehow sterile.....

must be the predominant road genes an 4 cilinders i guess :784:

I started with a 1980 Kawasaki KL250, then 2009 Kawasaki KLR650, 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT, then finally moved into the VFR1200X. Had a great time with them all.
