curious by name and nature
on: September 30, 2015, 05:38:08 PM
Hi, just joined as I am taking a test ride tomorrow and if I like then intend trading in my st1300.  I wonder if anyone has already done this or has experience of comparing the two.  I'm actually excited about the ride which is a compliment to the looks of the bike as it is the first to tempt me away from a Pan.  Hope I'm not disappointed.

:400: I'm sure you'll love it.....I had an ST1300 on a long term loan a few years back...Missed it terribly when it went back...had done a swift tour ..Route de Napoleon..Monaco ..Pyrenees..etc on it and had hankered after a Pan ever since..however...along came the CT...the rest is History!

:0461: I had a Pan ST 1300 as well. Traded it in (one year ago) for the CT DCT. Never regretted that allthough I liked the Pan as well.  For me  the CT is more comfortable.  Sitting more straight (?) and I cab drive longer without getting tired. Enjoy the test ride!

I had an ST1100 a few years ago which I loved at the time but the CT blows those memories away

I have ridden over 500K kms altogether on 2 ST1100`s and 1 ST1300... After that 3 GSses because I had a crush on allroads but the Varadero wasn`t for me... The CT is all I ever wanted in a bike.
