CT wants to get it up
on: September 29, 2015, 07:34:57 PM
Just passed 1,000 miles and the CT decides it's a wheelie machine! Away from the lights it lifts up until the torque control says "enough of that", and on the M25, in top gear, 5k revs and gunned it and again the wheel goes light and mummy torque control lights up.  Awesome bike....

Yes it is, but never try to do it!

Got caught out on my test ride though.

The CT will not wheellie in 6th gear, in fact no factory standard road bike will do that, let alone one weighing north of 275kg.

Maybe it hit a bump at the same time as I opened it up but the wheel went light and the torque control light came on. I will be testing this again in the interests of science. I'll try and fit a GoPro above the wheel.
I also had the beginnings of a tank slapper in first over crappy surface, very minor yes, but felt the same thing on my old 'blade.

Firstly, how do you know the bike is in top gear? Secondly, that's an old photo and had done the rounds, it's photo shopped.

I think he's just having a bit of fun.

How do you know that the photo has been altered? there are videos on YT showing Goldwing's popping wheelies.
