Test ride of a DCT.
on: September 26, 2015, 05:45:38 PM
Just got back from a test ride on the DCT.
What a good solid ride. Engine pulls like Brad Pitt in a night club, and the brakes are eye poppingly good.
Never tried a auto box before, and the C/T is a peach, loads of low down torque in Sport mode, which is arm wrenching if you hang onto the throttle for long enough.
Suspension is going to need some setting up if I get a C/T.......... A bit on the hard side for my liking, and it was on it's soft setting !
Also going to need the lower seat too. (30" inside leg).

All in all I'm reasonably impressed. Just waiting to see what figures the dealer comes up with on Monday.

And so the farkling begins................ On the list so far are.
1. Low seat.
2. Givi Outback 37ltr panniers with mounting frame.
3. Endcan.......... Not sure which one yet.

I've been umming and ahhing over this for a while. As the looks of the bike are not as good as the the GS. But after the test ride, I'm more impressed with the Honda than I thought I'd be.

It all depends on the figures now, as I'm fed up with buying new bikes only to lose thousands of pounds every two years or so.

Maybe I should buy one and keep it for a change........................ lol.
