Newbie Rushy

Evening all!

Recently bought a CT highlander DCT so I thought I would join in .
Living in Cheshire just outside Crewe I also have a Moto Guzzi which will have to be sold soon to fund the CT purchase. I am resisting it for a while but it won't be long before the Mrs notices it's still in the garage. Been riding since I was sixteen but getting slower as I move into my late forties.

Had the CT serviced at Crewe Honda last week ahead of a weekend trip to Scotland and the Lakes to get used to the big girl and she is a heavyweight for sure.  Covered 1000 miles over the weekend and had one nasty moment when she just wouldn't get round a right , left flick over a crest and both tyres let go. I love the engine and the power, I like the gearbox and the super smooth changes but she doesn't change direction as well as the 12GS I am using for work/commuting.

She is fitted with PR4 trails but the profile looks quite flat so I am wondering if changing to something with a more rounded profile might quicken up the steering?

That's all for now but I hope to be able to meet up with a few of you on ride outs / events perhaps next year.

Cheers, Ian

Welcome yes you've got to judge cornering a little earlier on the ct helps if you use the manual change down when on country lanes seems to quicken things up
