hello
on: September 14, 2015, 11:24:14 AM
Hello from a newbie,

I am just waiting on the collection of my low mileage 2012 Cross-tourer, took this out last Friday for a test run and was amazed by the performance for a large bike.  The commanding  view and acceleration with ABS and traction control was a blast. Croydon to Newlands Corner near Guilford surrey via Reigate with many different roads really came alive in the twisty sections.....the long straights with low down grunt can certainly take off so smoothly with nice standard exhaust note to match.....hope to meet and greet on any outings

regards

Keith

Well done on your choice of bike, the bike is often dismissed by those who have not had a test ride. I was smitten within minutes.

Welcome - good choice

Presume with such stunning performance you've opted for the faster black option and not one of these mamby-pamby red coloured ones?

(Cue abuse from Llanelli!!)

Thanks for warmest of biking welcomes, the bike is Red.  And comes with taller screen, Givi crash bars, heated grips, metal cases and a coloured coded top box. Full service history, but the ride did it for me, being tall, some bikes with my knees bent cut off all lower leg circulation  :305: funny when you stop :087:.

The Crosstourer is a very under estimated machine though I had only ridden the bike for less that 40 miles and the grin factor was good, reminded me of my old KTM 950 SM (stolen by chavs for  smash and grab). The bike I originally went to see had just been sold and then the Crosser and me met, love at first sight :156:

If it is just for power, then most people connect up under the left hand fairing. It's a bit vague but I took mine to the dealers to get hardwired to my tom tom.

Maybe someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to wiggly amps, will answer more specifically!  :164:
