Two up . Not bad at all
on: September 13, 2015, 07:53:27 PM
Having posted a couple of times various moans I have about the CT, I thought I would acknowledge one area where I think It is fairly good. Two up.!,, :028: when I bought the CT it was with the good lady in mind. and I do find it goes fairly well -The suspension copes with the "extra " weight with no issues and gives a smooth ride, the road tyres  ( with their lower profile )allow you to swing the back about, and the performance hardly suffers at all . Should you choose - a 100 mph cruise is no problem. :305:

I've thought, for some time, that two up the CT comes into its own.

Indeed

With the rear preload maxed out it handles great even 2 up & loaded, the rear is just a bit bouncy castle on the bumps sometimes

Cruising at 160 / 170 kph is comfortable and no fuss whatsoever, again 2 up & loaded

Took mine up to 200 kph just to see and it was fine, and yes I'm talking on the autobahn   :169:

Me too  :0461:

It's just so very neutral with a pillion and luggage on.  I'd say as good as the Varadero, and that was brilliant.
