2015 DCT - Burning smell on startup

Hi all a few times now when I have started the bike I get a strong smell of burning rubber/plastic ? Any idea's

Could be just that newness smell you get? Rubber, plastics, resins or oil overspray on the exhaust. As previous post worth checking around exhaust area.

I notice it if it's wet when I turn on the heated grips. Can't smell anything when you're going along obviously but as soon as you stop it's there.
