Rear Wheel - simple question
on:
August 15, 2015, 06:58:01 PM
Had a new rear "hoop" fitted today and noticed that there appears to be something missing from the middle of the wheel on the nut side?
Inside the middle of the 5 nuts, there's basically a big hole with a flange showing
Should there be some kind of cap/cover?

Bugger! Missing!
Presume its just a dust/weather cap though?

It is, but it does "finish" the wheel off well, when I had my Explorer, it didn't have a cap in the wheel, to me it never looked quite right.

The tyre dealer I used forgot to replace the centre cap after fitting a new tyre!
Returned the next day to find it lying on the workshop floor. Common mistake.
