Gday from Bendigo, Australia - BrentIam
on: July 18, 2015, 06:53:53 AM
Hi there,
I am a long-time rider here in Australia, brought up in Australia's Northern Territory (Currently living in the southern part in Victoria - flamin cold... but near all the kids) an area where I could go riding everyday from ten years old in a wonderland consisting of some 200 sq/km's combining a rainforest, sand dunes, rocky cliff faces, river with crocodiles near hard mud flats / salt pans and lengthy dirt tracks.

I have raced dirt endurance races, built and raced my own home-built drag bike and was nicknamed "Hoon1" and "Evel Knievel" in my younger years.

Have been off the grid a long while with money going to raising children rather than motorcycles; however, now that they have all left home, my wife and I are about to purchase a new Honda VRF1200X Crosstourer.

Anyway that's me folks and I look forward to interacting on here a bit more when we buy the bike in the coming weeks.

Cheers

Welcome Brentlam!
Hope the snow melts by the time you get the CT :-)

Drove thru bendigo pretty much exactly 2 years ago, unfortunately not on a CT but in a camping car with the 5 of us... Enjoyed the local FM very much, on our way to flinders ranges.
Enjoy the new kid to come and let us have your impressions!

Gday folks.
Thank you for all the surprising welcomes, and great to see the very few degrees of separation between us all with a fellow "Territorian" (The name we call people from Australia's Northern Territory) and a Belgian visitor to Bendigo...

Hope to get on here some more when I actually have wheels again soon.

Cheers
