has anyone got the 42lt outback trekker top box. What is the size like don't want to go as big as the 58lt, will it take a helmet and coat gloves. Cheers Harry.

Helmet and gloves yes , but don't think your jacket will go in as well.

Just get a long security cable with hooped ends and lock up your jacket, thread through arms and using the helmet lock under the seat.
