Tank Bag
on: June 27, 2015, 07:03:41 AM
Hello All,
Any experience, good or bad, with the Givi XS Tanklock range? In particular the largest one at 25 litres, XS306?

Will pop around some dealers, but hard to find all three sizes in one place.

Also, does this range actually lock? Or is it just a quick release mechanism?

Cheers.

I have the smallest one, they do not lock, they are quick release, which is great for refuelling, but does mean that anyone can also quick release it!

If it helps this is an XS308 fully expanded

As gadget says, it doesn't lock but it is very quick to release & take away.

I think the 306 & 308 have different bases - the 306 is flat but the 308 follows the shape of the CT tank a lot better (so long as you don't over fill it!)

English is a tricky language - just consider the difference between "Free Alcohol" and "Alcohol Free".
