is there a way to check the oil level of my shaft drive ?

Only by opening the resevoir i think.

Hi, see page 81 in the owners manual that you got with the bike.
Past bikes: CB400, GSX750, DR800, CBR600, ZX-9R, DL650, KTM990ADV, XL1000, KLZ1000

If you're not sure, just empty it and fill with 200ml. Job done. Costs maybe 5 Euro

Why make everything so complicated?
