Is German TUV Approved items accepted approved in UK?

As the heading states?? Just a curious question....looking at buying a towbar.

Should the said item also have a euro type of safety mark thing ? Would have thought most things made in Euroland would have the euro thing stamped on them.

I know the TUV is of the highest quality. Cant see why not though !
