New member in the house!
on: April 11, 2015, 09:46:36 PM
Hi, my name is Rui and I have a 2012 beautiful white Crosstourer and I´m loving it! But there is something that is worrying me, the bike as almost 20.000km, was 15.000km 3 months ago when I bought it but I can´t stop,  :007: So the thing is the loud clanky noise that comes from the final end transmission at low revs and when I push and release throttle. Been at the Honda dealer where I bought it about this and they say it is normal, so I need some help from you guys to know if the same happens with your Crosstourer. The noise is realy anoying...  :157:

Thank you.

The noise from your transmission is likely to be the backlash in the shaft drive, mine does it as do all I expect. Not unusual on this type of transmission and nothing to worry about.

Thank you for the feedback guys, I still have factory warranty, so let´s hope if something happens it will during the warranty time! I´m going to ride it to John O´groats in Scotland this summer, that should be a great test!  :038:
