Rear Mud guard under license plate
« on: January 03, 2015, 01:10:36 PM »
So some of you know the problem when you are riding your CT unter rainy conditions.... mud all over the rear end of the bike.

A Swiss CT ("fons" in the german CT Board) driver developed an clever idea with used Ducati Diavel Parts and a special made holder.

Is there any interest to produce something like that for the CT?
Whats your opinion?

This is exactly what i want  :062:
I am looking for it for the past 2 years
So if you think Fons would be able to build and sell one to me, it would definitly be a (late) Christmas gift for me.
Do you have any Link to Fons posts ?
I search the crosstourer.de forum with no result...
Any case,Thanks for your post

The original posts are here:

http://honda-crosstourer.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=381&start=120

Cause the needed Ducati Diavel parts are a little expensive (holder: 56113167AA (€ 279,11 ) and mud guard 46014911A (€ 21,69 ) plus the needed adaptor to mount it (handmade...) we want to create a new holder (laser-cut steel plate without license plate holder) and a new mud guard with an big "X" as special parts for the CT

http://honda-crosstourer.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=2697

I´ve just asked the german CT drivers if there is any interest.

We will build an prototype in the next weeks, do the cost calculations and if the price is significantly lower than the Ducati parts we will offer it to the community.
