Renewal Time
« on: January 03, 2015, 09:45:05 AM »
Anyone with Principal Insurance? saw them at the bike show (well i saw their advertising executives :038:)

Its renewal time for me and they came in very competitive, undercutting carolenash at £333 with comparable cover against a renewal quote of 419 which has now come down to 373.  This is fully comp on 2 bikes.

Just id never heard of them before the show.

Paul,
renewal time for me also, I have been recommended Adelaide insurance via the UKGSER forum. I contacted them yesterday for a multibike quote for my 14 plate crosstourer an 98 plate R1 , £176 Fully comp with European riding.
So I went for it there and then. 02890332111
Hope this helps

My CT is through Adelaide (via IAM) also on a multibike policy (but I am paying a lot more than Justin  :087:)

I will be finding out WHY very soon  :305:

My first quote was over £300 but they did a price match with MCN and beat it by 10%.

I'm with Adelaide (through IAM Surety), multi bilke policy (CT and 2001 VFR800). Cant remember the exact figure but around £170. It was double that when they first quoted but are obliged to price match (at least through IAM). They also gave free NCD protection. I got the lower quote through one of the search engines (Gocompare or similar). Much lower than Carole Nash who had always been competitive previously.

Paul,

Did their quote include the same add ons that Aunty Carole offers, the Europe breakdown/accident and legal cover?
