Which DCT mode do use most?

Those of us who have the DCT  :007: often have a default mode and thought it would be interesting to learn which is the most popular.

Riding in "cruising" Mode = D
Riding in "sports" Mode = manual by feet

Manual mode 99%, I have tried drive and thought it changes up to fast and sport mode holds the gears far to long imo

Not if you ride it really sporty  :016:  In the Netherlands I always ride it in S, when twisties and hills come in I jump into manual.

I have raced at clubman level and before that done many trackdays, and if your riding 'really sporty' then i cant understand why you wouldnt use manual all the time surely you want as much control over changing gear as the DCT will let you due to the fact that in sport mode the computer decides not you, each to their own I suppose  :031:

In the Netherlands, riding sporty is only short term, you either loose your license or head towards bankruptcy...

The nice thing about the DCT is that it adapts to your needs. If you decide it holds the gears too long, just upschift manually (in DCT mode) a couple of times. The DCT will learn that it has to adapt its moment of changing gears to your taste. It`s an intelligent system. Until you disconnect the battery, then you`ll have to go through the same process all over again.
