If anyone in the UK is thinking of buying the latest Garmin satnav (Zumo 590LM) Halfords have a good promotion at the moment.

The base price is £491.90
But if you buy any accessory with it you get a further 10% discount.
So just add a £1.00 pack of satnav screen wipes to the basket bringing the total price to £492.90.
Then 10% (£49.29) is automatically deducted at checkout and the total to pay is £443.61 

So Halfords give you almost £50.00 off for spending just an extra pound.

Save yourself a further £300 and buy a Garmin car satnav. I'm still using my Nuvi 670 even though it's at least 8 years old. Works in heavy rain without issue and has a decent sized screen. I'll replace it with another car version as they work just as well and are 1/3rd of the price.
