Sick bike!
on: August 27, 2013, 03:39:06 PM
Hi,
CT let me down this morning. Turned the key - no sound whatsoever from the fuel pump and the yellow warning light stays on. Engine turns over but will not fire. Waiting for the local Honda dealer to collect it......
I will let you all know what the issue is - not happy!  :232:

Is the kill switch set to 'off'?

With the kill switch set to 'off' the starter motor is isolated...... like I said, the engine turns but doesn't fire!
And yes, I have tried the spare key, checked all the fuses and there is fuel in the bike, etc, etc.
Should be hooked up to the diagnostics first thing in the morning, so I will await the verdict........ :187:

Yep,
Colin and the boys at Branson's Gloucester are top notch for sure - no worries they will sort it....
To be honest they were gobsmacked that it has broken down, but were not surprised that it happened to me!
They also picked the bike up for me without me having to wait for a breakdown recovery, excellent service!
Just hoping they can sort it by Thursday evening ready for the trip to the Capo owners shindig in Llandovery  :001:
