And another one
on: August 11, 2013, 10:46:40 AM
Hello from Yorkshire.
Just ordered a nice manual CT in silver yesterday, only a couple of months old so its like new. I've p/x'ed my VFR1200FD DCT that I've had for the last year and a half and whilst it is a really nice machine I wanted something a bit more upright and more suitable for taking the missus on the back. Looking forward to collecting it next weekend.

:400: from another Yorkshire CT owner or should i say Ey Up,
Can i ask a question mate, why the switch from DCT to manual? The CT is a belting bike for carrying a pillion but i would have stuck with the DCT version as it's a bit more pillion friendly.

Partly cost, Honda were selling them off V cheap last year, I paid £8.5k for mine pre-registered. I still like to use a manual clutch, the only minor criticism I had with the DCT was low speed control when doing U turns. I would definitely have another though, excellent piece of engineering

You will have to take my pillions word for that not mine. My wife loves the CT's smooth seamless gear changes compared to a manual gearbox.
