Never seen one for a CT and removed it from both my GS's as I thought it looked terrible

Just goes to show beauty is in the eye of the beholder  :305:

Yes they do but nevertheless, they are very effective and do the job. The CT could use something like that.

Actually, my colleagues who have GSs have removed them as they cause more spray than they are supposed to stop by deflecting water all over the back of the bike and onto the back of the legs. Sure they stop a lot from covering the vehicle behind but my priority is myself first.

It is true that your pillion will take a lot of water and mud on her back when it is raining, but, if you have your topcase mounted, you don't have more spray than on another bike. We have been in a terrible thunderstorm in the mountains a few weeks ago, and my gf had no mud on her back. This was a little different when we went out once without the topcase. She looked as if someone dropped a bucket of mud on her back.

I fitted the Pyramid Ductail, and travelling some days under the storms (last month in Romania) the TopCase was full of mud (like the rest of the bike). That never happened to my in my old Varadero, but ... the CT is great and I can go on with it ...
I just have to clean the Topcase ...  :002:
It doesn’t matter the fast you go, but the far you arrive ...

So the ducktail did not help?  I get a lot of spray and dirt under my H&B top box.
