Swapping Varadaro for XTourer
on: July 26, 2013, 11:19:39 AM
Hi peeps, I am going in tomorrow to order my new Crosstourer SE, I have had a Vara for 3 years now and its time for a change. I have test ridden 2 XTourers and am very impressed. I live in Sussex and can be found at all the usual biker spots in Surrey and Sussex during the weekends. If you see a RED or Black bike with rider wearing a flourescent yellow Schubarth on its me!

If your not happy with Honda's recommended standard settings as in the hand book, try VJ's suggestion here https://www.crosstourer.com/index.php/topic,2029.0.html they work a treat.
I only differed from them on the front pre-load which I set at one full turn clockwise from fully anticlockwise because I had a slight sea saw effect over certain types of bumps all other setting were as VJ suggested and it transformed the ride quality and handling.
Cheers Blu

Thanks for the welcome all :001:

I eventually ended buying a White SE CT, have ordered Hugger, fender extender, Touratech tail splash guard, Bagster tank cover but am having trouble ordering the Crazy Iron engine Bars - thanks BTW Moli for the info :062:. I think I may end up having to ring them.
