MPG again
on: July 21, 2013, 12:41:02 PM
Here's what I've been getting over the last four tanks, this is with the O2 eliminators and a Leo Vince can (baffle in)fitted, no issues with fuelling, runs better than ever,silky smooth.
the lower figures are with some very spirited riding,upper figures are what I consider normal riding.
I do intend doing a bit of economy riding just to see what I can eek out of the camel but always seem to get drawn into the dark side of the V4 LOL
50.2,
48.6
49.4
48.7......AV= 49.2
Cheers Blu

My right hand always ignores my commands when I ride CT. I never managed to ride easy for one full tank. Good luck with that :001:

You can check the website from my sig to keep track of your fuel consumption.

That's excellent Pete  :046: It beggars belief how you manage it , when you can be playing the gearbox like an old fiddle on some of your roads  :008: The CT must like that pure Welch valley air  :152: I must come down again and get mine to suck on some  :031:

I never do any town or city riding, luckily the roads in Wales tend to be pretty light on traffic so I suppose this really helps MPG.
Today I've been out and done a bit of IAM type riding for the first 100 miles then a further 116 of brisk, making good progress riding total 216 miles
On refilling she took 18.8 ltr = 4.1 gallons = 52.6mpg A fugging mazing I think!
Cheers Blu
