Down to Austria from Aberdeen
on: July 19, 2013, 08:33:55 PM
We left Fyvie on Sunday and finally got to Ried in the Tyrol yesterday covering 1500 miles in the process and I have to say the CT has been brilliant.
Even with the standard seat and a couple of 400 mile days we both had no aches or pains.
The MRA screen has allowed me to ride in 37 degree heat with my vison half open without a problem.
Been zooming the Autobahns and tootling in villages and even fully loaded with panniers, top box, tank bag and misses just kept doing whaterever was asked.
Off to Stelvio Pass tomorrow but all panniers and frame removed with the quick release Givi system so will see how the handling on all those hairpins is altho the B500 was good as well!
Will post a few photos and more info on the ride home next weekend but its fair to say the bike is brill........so far !

Sounds excellent Russ, but too warm for me, 29c in Spain in April was enough for me!

Having said that it was 29c today in Aviemore, sweat pishing off me on the mountain bike all week  :152:

Keep us updated on the trip and have a good one  :031:
