How do I remove the rear wheel without a centre stand?

Hi all,
I want to fit a Pyramid hugger but don't have a centre stand.
Any ideas how to support the bike?
Cheers

How about getting an Abba stand, they certainly do one for a VFR1200 hopefully the same for a CT. Got one in the garage for previous bikes and they are brill.

Jack it up onto the side stand but just enough to clear the wheel. Works for me on all my Bikes without Centre Stands.

Due to recent financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

This question just makes me wonder why the centre stand is an option on the CT. An adventure type bike needs a centre stand and it shouldn't be an option, especially on a bike with a list price of £11500.

Its not on having to shell out a lot of extra cash for what should be an essential item.
Anyway, on bikes without a main stand I just cable tie the front brake on and use a scissor jack under the rear swingarm - not quite as stable as if it had a main stand but sufficient enough..
