Exhaust cathing right leg !
on: June 07, 2013, 03:33:07 PM
Has anyone else had this problem ?

I fitted the new Arrow can a while ago but recently (and I haven't really used the bike much, to my shame I've been trying to save the tyres for the Austria trip!) on 2 occasions my textile trousers have been burnt after coming into contact with the exhaust out of the end can ?

I have a feeling that as I lean the bike over onto the side stand I must go over with it and I assume my leg must then catch the exhaust on the right. I don't notice at the time but this morning after getting into work I noticed it had happened again.

Just wondered if anyone else had encountered this problem that putting the bike on the side stand causes this. Trouble is, where I park at work I have no option but to put it in the sidestand before I get off coz of the lack of space.

I wear my textiles (Halvarrsons) outside coz they wont go inside, my leathers go on the inside.
