It's been a week
on: June 01, 2013, 08:21:15 AM
I have had the DCT for a week, and did I make the right decision?

 :082:  :047:  :046: oh yes I did.

Used it every day to commute, and not a problem in the slow traffic, and it even returned 42mpg on its first fill up. Can't believe how dirty it's got, it looks like I have been off road! - splash guard ordered from touratech, found it cheaper to buy from Germany than the UK. Radiator guard to fit today, the council is resurfacing every road with chippings!
The only negatives at the moment, not doing very well at riding under the speed limit, and I need to practice some slow U turns!!
More extras to follow soon  :001:

Great!  Enjoy.  I'm up to about 2500kms and I'm loving it more and more.  Wish I had a holiday to spend a whole week with it.  That'll have to wait.

Get used to 'dragging' the rear brake a little bit to keep it steady  :305:

I get my new tyres on Wednesday, so the DCT will be working overtime again!  :007:
