on: May 25, 2013, 02:50:38 PM
Tomorrow my brother and i leave for a little spin.  :008:

He will be on his trusty klv 1000 and I will be on my CT.

This will be the CTs first major tour so looking forward to it. We will at the nurburgring for a couple of days then down to Italy for a week in Tuscany and taking in the moto GP at Mugello.

Ciao!

Oi mister, you aren't going anywhere until you tell us how your test ride on the KTM 1190 went  :013:

About time. You may go now  :038:

Seriously, thanks mate. You didn't have to write your impressions at 5am though  :028:

The KTM sounds nice but your comments about the soft forks and "sat on" riding position are disappointing. I'll have to try and have a test ride on one but i don't know where (I test rode the SMT and Adventure at Redline KTM in Loughborough and was quite pi**ed-off with them as i only got half an hour on the Adventure and spent half of that fighting with a loose mirror and 45 minutes on the SMT that had a teaspoon of petrol in the tank so i wasted half of that time finding a petrol station and re-fueling). Not keen on going back to chain drive though and until BMW reliability improves i won't even consider the LC no matter how good a bike it is.

Hope you and your brother enjoy the GP you jammy buggers

cheers . . . Terry
