Heated Grips
on: May 20, 2013, 10:36:13 PM
Can someone take a close-up photo of the right hand grip (throttle)? I want to see where the cable is routed. On mineit gets in the way of my thumb when I want to select the D/S mpode button. I expected the cable to be more underneath the grip than sticking out more towards the rider.

Mine was/is the same - but with the starter button - so I strapped it out of the way with a cable tie.

It doesn’t matter the fast you go, but the far you arrive ...

No, yours are how I expect them to be fitted with the cable coming out at 6 o'clock (directly downwards) rather than 8 o'clock as on mine and Doc's.

Yes, you're right; it's at 6 o'clock.
And I've never had any problem with my thumb ... but maybe it's because I haven't DCT model ...

That's exactly how mine is on my DCT model. Not had any problems as is.
