Let me introduce myself ..
on: May 13, 2013, 07:24:06 PM
Hi,
I'm Achim from Germany.
I already personally know Doc and Stefan here at the forum (I am PanAL in the German forum) and that's a bit why I joined finally after having read posts here for quite a while. Some comparable to posts in the German forum, some fairly different and, therefore, more interesting.
Before I decided to get a Crosstourer I had two Pan European ST1100 (before that a Yamaha that does not count) on which I rode more than 230.000 km at any occasion - daily to work up to family vacation. My wife as well as my three kids ride their own bikes: two Honda Transalp + two KTM LC4 620 (the boys, of course).
Next weekend we're going on our family-bike-we/e. Looking forward.
I have had my CT (white, regular gear box) for a little over a year now and put more than 19.000 km on it. Is there anyone around who does not agree with "it is pure fun", "it's a fantastic bike"?
Well, that's it at the time.
Wish you all the best for the upcoming seasons.
Achim

 :400: sir.

I just got mine last week, and put 1.100 kms on it already. It is nothing short of fantastic so far, and being a Honda, chances are the CT will remain fantastic for some to come.

The ONLY drawback of CT for me was... I had to let go of my '09 Pan. Damn I need to make more money (or invest less in my future).

Welcome again, I hope you will enjoy the forum.

:400:. Sounds like you can bring quite a bit of experience to the forum and I'll keep a look out for another white CT when I'm in Germany at the end of May.

Hi Achim, and welcome to the best CT Forum.

Will you be around for our meet at the Biker Ranch on Sunday?
