Blumeeni Joins
on: May 08, 2013, 09:45:44 PM
Hi Guys just joined not got a cross tourer yet but I am 99.9% sure it's the bike I want.
I live in Llanelli South West Wales most of my riding(15-20k a year) is around mid west Wales with the odd trip to France Spain
My current bikes are
CB1000r 58 reg
Cbr 929rry blade X reg
Aprilia caponord etv 1000 08 reg
I'm taking early retirement(well deserved I keep telling myself) after July having done 40yrs as a AA Patrol.
I'm moving to Tenerife in Sept/Oct this year  I'll  sell two of my current bikes but keeping one here in the UK for when I come home between May----Sept
As a retirement present to myself I want a bike to take to Tenerife and after test riding lots I've nearly committed to a cross tourer.
As a big Honda fan for over 40yrs it seems the logical way to go and although I've been tempted by the dark side it's BIG H thats gonna win by the looks of it.

I am not sure I would have a CT in Tenerife, the place is too small for a big lump like that. Unless two-up I think I would go Tiger 800.

Nah roads is roads and I've done lots of miles and smiles in Tenerife! any which way to mount Teide is awesome riding on any bike.
I need a bike that will carry a pillion and luggage with ease back and forth to the UK,be reliable, great build quality and fast. handle reasonably well for when I want to push on a bit.
When I'm solo riding and if budget allows I'll prolly get something like a Street triple R to scratch
