fuel consumption display
on: May 08, 2013, 09:36:31 PM
Am i missing something here or can the fuel consumption display be switched from km to mpg as i can't see a way to do it? What is the logic of having the rest of the readouts in imperial but this in metric? I can only assume it's because fuel is sold in litres rather than gallons  :084:

I did wonder myself Terry, and had to read the handbook through again to see if there was another  setting  :084:
All I know is mate that when I got home on Sunday { after another ride through Goole I might add} that my display AV was 11.1  :152: ,which worked out as 50.3 mpg  :020: Not bad for a 285kg lump ! Even when I had been  :020:cracking on in  sport mode, I was only down to 9.8 AV or 44.5 mpg near as damn it  :028:

Yet another ride through Goole, you're a sucker for punishment Rob  :110:
Decent fuel consumption though  :028:

I'll be heading down your way on 1st June to nip into Grantham so they can check out the heated grips. Hope they can sort them as i'm having trouble with my right hand and i want to fit some grip puppies to see if they help. I'm not sure if it's smashing some concrete up that's caused it or the throttle position at motorway speeds or the cheap and nasty CT grips or a combination of them all. If only the CT had cruise control  :084:

Both the cruise controls on that page look promising mate, but would the bar end type work with the ct handguards fitted?

Not sure if it'll fit the CT with guards but it does on the capo, my preference is for the other type for ease of use.
Cheers Blu
