How long do you want to keep your CT ?
on: April 24, 2013, 07:26:56 PM
hello,
I was just curious as to know how long do you want to keep your CT before upgrading to a new bike ?
Do you think 2 years is a good idea for sale before losing too much money ?

thanks

I am buying mine next month. Unless I meet some unexpected problems (with the bike or maybe in life) I plan to keep it for 4-5 years at the least. I cant find any bike to upgrade to, the bike looks solid and has everything I need and more. That depends on the person I guess.
average on my VFR1200X

At nearly 59 i bought the CT as probably my LAST new big bike for the roads and hope to keep it for 10 years or until something like ill-health prevents me from riding it.

I will never be bikeless though :305:

I don't see me changing it any time soon. However, as I'm catching up with Scotsy I might have to think of something a little lower and lighter in a few years time.
What do you mean it's raining....get ootside and ride the thing.

Sure not changing my CT any time soon. I think at least for some 5 years perhaps much longer. Sure gona keep my other bike - the AfricaTwin "forever" as it is such a great bike and doesnt cost me much now.
Around the world and back ... driven Honda motorbikes all over Europe, Australia, NewZealand, Japan, Russia .....

I tend to change bikes every 2 years but only if there's something that takes my fancy.  :084: I was happy with my Z1000SX but the CT fitted my requirements perfectly, for now. Might swap it for a DCT version  :028:
I love talking about nothing. It is the only thing I know anything about.
