Hello from Tony in the wilds of Yorkshire
on: April 18, 2013, 10:33:55 PM
Hello all

Made the mistake of visiting the new local Honda dealership in Shipley West Yorkshire, and its looks like its going to be bye bye Transalp hello Crosstourer. I have a proper test ride booked for next week :-D

Forum looks great with lots of interesting posts, hope to be adding my own soon.

Thanks
TC

 :400: tony from a lancashire lad :024:

The transalp will feel like a lightweight when you try moving the CT about at a standstill but don't worry as the weight disappears as soon as you move away

You will however pretty soon become addicted to the 'growl' from the airbox when the V4 starts gulping the air in and the torque produced in the end will be what sells you the bike :037:

Apart from the Yorkshireman bit  :008: I recon I must be the god father of the DCT special edition now on this forum  :745:
I didn't get a test ride, and bought the CT DCT with full confidence that it would suite my needs, and it far exceeds my expectations. :020:

:400: TC, I took the demo out for a ride and ended up buying it  :001: As Scotsy says you will notice the weight when pushing it around and I'm just getting used to the different wheel sizes but as you've already come from a similar bike it shouldn't feel much different.
I love talking about nothing. It is the only thing I know anything about.
