OEM luggage now not available ?
on: April 17, 2013, 03:41:05 PM
My local Honda dealer just told me that the OEM luggage has been de-listed by Honda and is no longer available!

Just getting some Givi pricing and happened to ask.

I am not surprised
Picking my Givi Trekker luggage up from Ben / Kent's at the weekend
Can't wait
Honda should have brokered a deal with Givi to have supplied Luggage OEM for the Cross Tourer same as they do with Acrapovic.Would have made a really nice SE from the start.
How are you getting on with the CT? I saw a silver one on Sunday afternoon dropping down into Hythe and wondered if it was you .

Nope, not me, I am white.

Getting on alright, only done about 40km though.

I go to Germany in two weeks on it and there is no way I will get 1000km done before hand so it can sit in the garage until then and by the time I get back from the trip it should be just ready for first service.

Just contemplating getting some hard luggage for it but I just cannot find any that I like to be honest so I might stick with soft stuff.

Just wondered Ben said they had sold 6 CT's so will start to be a more familiar site on Kent Road
If you want to look at the Trekker boxes  in the flesh you are more than welcome
I like the hinged tops so you can get access without spilling the contents of the pannier out and the guys on this form have only good things to say about them which is reassuring.
Have a great safe trip to Germany over there myself in 3 weeks for the annual trip to the  Nurburgring
To dry roads eh

Have a look through the gallery pics as there are many different luggage set-ups on members bikes, especially the european owners :169:

Nice one.
I think it has to be Givi V35 for me or maybe see if I can pickup some second hand OEM ones (I don't like them - but no rack).
