Hello from Peterborough
on: March 10, 2013, 05:40:34 AM
Hi all, my name is Rob (Verde) from Peterborough.  I bought a DCT a few weeks ago with 84 miles on the clock :169:.  Just had the first service done on her, now to find out how she compares with my old KTM Adventure.

Hi Rob,  :400: to the forum. Had a test ride on the 990 SMT and the Adventure. Was expecting to prefer the SMT but turned out to be the Adventure  that was the nicer bike. Not keen on the mega sensitive throttle in traffic but i suppose thats something you soon get used to. Nice to see your clocking up a few miles on the Crosstourer  :028:

Hi There Rob.  :400:  to the forum.

Enjoy the ride.  I think your Life quotation is great  :152: , just don't slip sideways too quickly.

Keep it on the Black Stuff or Dirt - BUT - Rubber Side Down.  Else it hurts!

Hi Saxon, my first day out on the bike involved snow.  She handled very well, OK I have to admit not as well as my KTM did. My problem was getting use to not be able to pull the clutch in on the icy corners.  When I can post a piccy of my first day I will.
