Voyager888 on Xtourer 1200x from Russia
on: February 15, 2013, 09:52:46 AM
Hi to everyone!
I'm very pleased to join to this Xtourer club!
My XT is 2012 manual gearbox in white sunbeam, i bought it after moto season reached its end - in NOV 2012.
In Russia it was snowing. I took only very short ride - but i liked XT so much! Despite of huge mass it's like a feather
weighted bicycle in hand!
In Russia this model costs 17500euro ($23300) with manual transmission and +2500euro with DCT.
So it's not much less than 1200GS, but XT in Honda's dealer is just naked - neither lighter socket, nor heated grip as
i've  got from BMW.
I got mine for $20k or 15200euro. So i got feng-shui favorable serial nr  :152:
Two month i was searching info about things i have to get and now
OEM heated grips/harness/lighter socket are waiting to be installed.
SW-motech belly made of 3mm aluminium and welded perfectly
R&G radiator grid and some sliders came from UK
The rest of i've ordered is GIVI from italy:
E52 topcase with inner upholstery on AL mounting plate, pair of V35 sidedcases with white sunbeam lids, engine bars, additional lights, etc.
After all of them will be on motorcycle i'll make a picture and hope my XT will looks like White Multistrada
but with its V4 engine smooth like Rangerover's V8.

Keep it on the Black Stuff or Dirt - BUT - Rubber Side Down.  Else it hurts!
